RTP is a long-run average over a very large number of spins. It does not tell you what will happen in one session.

How the 1,024 ways pay

Matching symbols pay when they land on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel, from 3 of a kind up to 5. The ways are the matching symbols on each reel multiplied together: 1 on reel 1, 3 on reel 2 and 2 on reel 3 make 1 x 3 x 2 = 6 ways, and the symbol payout is multiplied by 6. After the win is paid, the winning symbols explode, new ones drop in, and the game checks again until no new win forms.

The multiplier goes up by 1

Every main game spin starts at x1. Each time a cascade brings a new win, the multiplier goes up by 1: x2, x3, x4 and so on. PG Soft's sheet gives no cap. It goes back to x1 on the next spin. This is slower than the doubling in Wild Bounty Showdown, but it starts working on the second win of a spin.

Gold framed symbols turn into Wilds

On reels 2, 3 and 4, symbols can land with a gold frame (never the Wild or the Scatter). When a gold framed symbol is part of a win, it turns into a Wild after the new symbols drop in. The Wild, two crossed revolvers, stands in for every symbol except the Scatter.

12 free spins with a gold middle reel

3 Scatters (the painted skull) anywhere start 12 free spins, and each extra Scatter adds 2 more. During the feature, every symbol on reel 3 except the Wild and the Scatter lands gold framed. The multiplier is x1 when the feature starts and goes up by 1 after each cascade win. It is not reset on each free spin: PG Soft's own screens show x11 with 8 spins left and x22 with 2 left. Free spins can be retriggered.

Symbols and paytable

Payouts are for 3, 4 and 5 of a kind, per way, in multiples of the bet per way:

• Bandit: 10, 25, 50
• Guitar: 8, 20, 40
• Tequila glass: 6, 15, 30
• Maracas: 5, 10, 15
• A and K: 3, 5, 12
• Q: 2, 4, 10
• J and 10: 1, 3, 6

Max win: 25,000x or 2,525x?

Both numbers come from PG Soft. 25,000x the bet is the advertised maximum. 2,525x is the highest win PG Soft saw when it simulated 1 billion spins, which shows how rare anything near the cap is. Review sites that quote only one of them are not wrong, just incomplete.

How often it pays, per PG Soft

PG Soft gives an overall hit rate of 28.74%, so a little more than one spin in four pays something. Free spins hit at 0.4%, about once every 250 spins on average. These are long-run averages, not a schedule, and there is no Feature Buy to skip the wait.
